Evans Capacitor Company is a privately held, AS9100/ISO 9001 certified, ITAR registered company headquartered in East Providence, Rhode Island. The company designs and manufactures advanced capacitors for aerospace, defense, and other demanding applications. Founded in 1996, Evans discovered that combining two capacitor technologies — tantalum and ruthenium oxide — produces the highest energy density capacitor in the industry. These hybrid capacitors, known as EVANSCAPS, provide significant space and weight savings compared to other capacitor technologies in a ruggedized package with high reliability (MTBF > 5 million hours).
